A deck of 12 cards is dealt for the whole game, and the same cards come back every round. You get your table to guess as many cards as possible before your turn ends. Guesses are spoken out loud.

A game, step by step
- Round 1: you describe the card in full sentences. Round 2: one single word only. Round 3: you mime it.
- On your turn you see a card and your table guesses out loud. You confirm when they got it, or you skip.
- Each card guessed is worth 1 point to the player who got the table to guess it. A card that was not guessed goes back in the pile.
- A round ends when every card has been guessed. After the third round, the highest score wins.

How many players do I need for Against the Clock?
You need at least 4 players to start a game. The table seats up to 8 players, and the host sets its size.

How long does a game take?
Each turn lasts 30 seconds by default, and the host can change it. The total length depends on how fast your table guesses the 12 cards, three times over.
